Samantha - I love her just the way she is. True to herself. Daring. Loyal & Fight for all for her friends. Though she loves sex and i always regard her as an animal....BUT, i think even in the show, the fact that she wanted to stay true to "Smith" was worth the applause. I like Samantha, cos she never pretends to suit others. She never puts on a fake front. But no matter what she does, I AM SAMANTHA style is definitely protrayed & manifested from the inside out :)
Miran - Generally, She is my least fav character. Haha...though Miran is ALWAYS ever so career minded & focused & even regard SEX as UN-impt in her life, but i guess, she has a little essence of the woman of this generation. Tough, Strong, Never a whinning-cute-girlish-neh-act cute figure. She is a self sufficient woman, never lacking even alone...
Charlotte - I kind of like her too. Cos i like her truthfulness, her idealistic way of thinking & her simple mindedness in Love, Sex, Friends & of cos NY City. Sometimes, it is this idealistic thinking of her that really grants me "Hope" to believe that there is True Love, there is Happiness, there are Good things to everything. Charlotte naiveness & childlikeness is seriously something that i longed for. This character, almost 90% will be the guy's most fav...haha...not unusual though :)
CARRRIE - Gosh. I do not like LOVE carrie this character, but i really love Sarah Jessica Parker A LOT. I am madly in love with her. I wouldnt mind turning a lesbian for her!!! HAHA. Alrights, i wont. i love Carrie, cos she is such an awesome person. Drive in her work....Always Searching & believing that LA is where Love is....always such a thinking person...thinking & reflecting... True to her friends, always there whenever she can... She has such a good figure...such a good sense of fashion. I love the love story behind her & Mr.BIG...
Gosh...i Cried SO MANY TIMES in the show...it was so heartpaining when the marriage was cancelled, Carrie was devastated, Charlotte was so fury and the frds could totally feel her anguish that they had to immediately sent her back....it was so painful... When you thought you have found love...and are in Love, only to realise everything was shattered. This willingness to be vulnerable... i Cried SO MANY TIMES, because of the Love story, because of the friendship they shared...and because i could assimilate myself in some of them..
I am so in love in SATC. I wish, I can be like carrie...

The Bible tells the story of the great patriarch, Abraham, who was called by the Lord to leave his homeland and his family. God would lead him to a land where he had never been.

As you are running your race as a Christian, you may find yourself being hindered by someone. Is there someone in your life like Lot who is slowing you down? While we want to minister to people and reach them with the gospel,we must be careful not to do so at the expense of our own spiritual lives. There might be someone who is slowing you down in the race of life.
Is someone dragging you down spiritually? Is someone hindering you from doing what God has called you to do? You need to ask yourself, "Is this person a wing or a weight?Is he or she speeding me on my way or slowing me down?"
Running the race is not just running toward what is right.It is also running away from what is wrong.

Playing by the Rules
"Remember that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize. You also must run in such a way that you will win."
If you participate in an athletic event, you must play by the rules. You can't make your own. You can't say, "If I hit the ball eight feet, then that is a home run. These are my rules." That is not the way it works.
You must play by the rules. Even if you hit the ball out of the park, you still must cross and touch every single base. If you miss one base, that home run doesn't count, and you are disqualified.
For example, if you want to compete in track and field in the Olympics, then you must play by the rules. One rule is that athletes are prohibited from using drugs like steroids to enhance their performance. We remember the 1988 Summer Olympics when Carl Lewis won the gold medal in the 100 meters because Ben Johnson was disqualified for steroid use. Johnson didn't play by the rules.
In the same way, this race of life we are running has a rulebook. It is called the Bible. It is not for us to pick and choose what parts of the Bible we like.
You can't say, "I like certain truths in the Bible. I like the part about God's love and forgiveness. But this part about denying yourself and taking up the cross . . . that must not be in the original language. I don't believe it." You can't do that.
If you are going to run this race, and run to win, then you must play the rules that God has given to you in Scripture. We must play by the rules, or we will be disqualified.

I went to Hillsongs concert at Expo yday. God is very real. His presence was manifested clearly & vividly last night.
I set my mind to go yday, but Hotel seminar at walton ended late around 6pm. And i was having a headache. Worse still, my mum called me to eat father's day dinner?!?!
Gosh. To be very frank, i nearly wanted to just go home & rest after a day of work & moreover headache.
BUT, i told God. I will not. Cos i know it is the work and distraction Satan .Cos in my spirit, i know that i needed this Hillsong concert & i know I need to get back to God. Esp when this heartbroken 2 weeks in my life. Where I need the presence of God, The Fear of God & the Love of the Lord...

"But till you look up.....then you see God with His awesome Hands, trying to shield you from the rain of stones coming towards you. He is using his body & His every might to protect you... and when He saw you hit, He said "I am sorry, i miss this stone" "
The usual me...will be "HUH? God?? You ARE God. How can you miss? You cant miss right???" But at the point of time, i realised it is the heart of God that I see... That He loves me so much, than instead of having a calamity of magnitude 10. I was also experiencing magnitude 1. That is Jesus Love & Jesus Grace.

If you compared yourself to something in nature, what would you choose? Would you say you are like a mountain, or a hill or perhaps a lake? David wrote, "But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever" (v. 8). David compared himself to something permanent, in contrast to the wicked, who will be uprooted from the land of the living (v. 5).
David's permanent position was also a privileged position because he was planted in the house of the Lord. The most important part of a tree is the root system, for it absorbs nourishment. In addition, it provides stability and strength in the storm. We can discern what kind of root system people have when the winds of life blow harder. Some people are like tumbleweeds; they just rootlessly blow from one place to another.
David was also productive. He was like a green olive tree in the house of God, bearing fruit for His glory. Fruitfulness is one of the great joys in the Christian life. Jesus used the image of a vine to tell believers that we should produce a lot of fruit (John 15:1-8).
Look at these symbols. A green tree symbolizes freshness and power. Olives contain oil, which is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. No wonder David ended this psalm by praising the Lord! "I will praise You forever, because You have done it; and in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good" (Ps. 52:9).
An olive tree in the house of God is an accurate picture of the believer's position. You are permanent, privileged and productive. You bear fruit for God's glory only when you are yielded to Him and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. Can you describe yourself as an olive tree in the house of God?

Gosh, i love this show madly. Yes, the storyline is another typical script of LA hollywood... BUT, sapphire still enjoys it a lot.
I wish...my love life story will mimic over such happy ever after ending.
No matter how successful and career minded Sapphire can be.
Indeed... "I would rather do nothing and be happy, than to do something that i dont love."
How true.
If only i have such courage. You will see Sapphire being a very different person.
Many ppl have this impression that Sapphire is jus another strong career minded & successful biz woman... and yet, deep down inside, i am just another "cameron diaz" here in this movie.
If i have met this guy of my life, maybe not in LV, i will prob submit to make it a happy ever after.
To be frank, I do not see a future in Spore.... Chances are, i will migrate to the States or Aussie in the future, hopefully with him.

i graduated in NUS as a mechanical engineer. i tried working in STMicroelectronics as a process engineer. but found that this is somethg that i dun reali enjoy. because i know God has created me differently.
He has made me with a passion to be with ppl. He has gave me a gift to make frds and minister to ppl. He has gave me a unique ability to make sincere relationship.
bcos Christ reigns in me.
so after becoming a engineer for a while, i quited and i am currently working in Walton international Grp(S) PTE LTD as a landbanker now.
it's a career that i reali enjoy bcos i get to meet all walks of ppl in my life. i get to help ppl to better invest in a correct way. to analyse together with my cients the oppt and not jus to do hard selling.
cos i dun believe in that. i like to share.
Not only so, I am also Volunteering under Touch Community Service in my Church, Volunteering in NYC as well as Sunday school :)
right now, my only Wish is to become even closer with Christ in this beauty journey of my Life.
